Q: Are these safe to use on teflon or other non stick types pans? In other words won't scratch the surface. Are the tips thick enough to avoid that?
A: They are soft silicone tipped. I use on my porcelain pans with no problem.
Q: Looks like only the tips close tight. Do they work well for removing lasagna from boiling water?
A: I’ve only used it to pick up beef and chicken, but I think it will work on lasagna.
Q: Is this kitchen tongs dishwasher safe?
A: I put mine in the dishwasher, and they seem fine. They are very high quality; worth every penny.
