Non-stick pan safety rules

- Apr 11, 2018-

  1. Should not be too high temperature frying. The non-stick non-stick coating is actually a film with a thickness of about 0 or 2 mm. If the dry or oil temperature reaches about 300°C, the film may be damaged and some heavy metal components will be released. Harmful to the human body. In general cooking, the temperature will not be too high, but if cooking fried foods, in the frying process has been hot, the pot temperature may exceed 260 °C, it is easy to cause decomposition of harmful ingredients.

  2. Do not use if damaged. A non-stick pan with a few scratches or nicks does not need to be thrown away; it should only be disposed of when large fragmentation and performance are affected.

  3. Use nonstick cookware and do not use iron shovels to prevent damage to the non-stick coating.
