Silicone materials have the following characteristics:
1. Silicone raw materials are generally gelatinous, somewhat similar to plasticine, colorless translucent, odorless.
2. Its main features are both high temperature (up to 300°C) and low temperature (minimum -100°C). It is the best cold and high temperature resistant rubber at the moment; meanwhile, it has excellent electrical insulation and high stability to thermal oxidation and ozone. The major drawback of chemical inertness is its low mechanical strength, oil resistance, poor solvent and acid and alkali resistance, and difficulty in vulcanization. The price is relatively high. Use temperature: -60 °C ~ + 200 °C.
3. Use temperature: as described above, the general setting is -40 °C -200 °C, in a short time up to 230 °C.
4. Aging problem: oil resistance, acid and alkali resistance is poor, and the stress situation is not related.
